"Research the company that you are planning to apply for and understand if you fit in their culture. Be yourself."
About my career

After I graduated, I started working as a Project Manager at BT on their Graduate Programme. My role involves managing a complex IT transformation programme for BT. This includes the planning and delivery of innovative IT systems for project managers, which aim to bring about efficiency and effectiveness across BT.

My top tip for students is…

Research the company that you are planning to apply for and understand if you fit in their culture. Be yourself.

What skills gained at University have you used most in your career?

My time at Manchester Met gave me an understanding of Business Strategy, Organisational Behaviour as well as Consulting and Communication. These skills and knowledge are important in my day-to-day job.

What did you enjoy most whilst studying at Manchester Met?

I enjoyed the Global Strategy and Consultancy units, as both topics allowed me to understand various aspects of business. Global Strategy equipped me with the theory and how theory can be applied in real life scenarios. The consultancy unit allowed me to apply the theory in real life with a real client.

Why I love Manchester Met

Manchester Met is forward thinking and the course aligned to the current market trends.
