About my career

I’m a well renowned expert within the search marketing industry and I think that’s partly thanks to Manchester Metropolitan University for equipping me with a broad range of business skills.

I'm the recipient of the 1st ever Deans Commendation from Manchester Metropolitan which I was awarded for achieving 97% in my Information Management exam.

The business skills; I learnt within my course (particularly regarding Marketing) have helped me to establish myself as an expert within the Search Marketing Industry in the North West and beyond. I have worked with a number of exciting brands such as Revolution Bars and Newcastle United.

My top tip for students is…

There are no shortcuts to any place worth going. Just put in the work and you'll get to where you want to be eventually.

I’m inspired by…

My social enterprise lecturer: Fernando Lourenço. He was a fantastic teacher who made his lectures as fun as they were informative and went out of his way to help people in whatever way he could. I keep in contact with him from time to time.

Why I love Manchester Met

Manchester Metropolitan University is a fantastic place to study with lots of extra university events, a rich local culture and world class facilities; The new business school and Students' Union looks amazing.
I found the calibre of the teaching with the Faculty of Business and Law to be top notch. The lecturers were always helpful, and I had no issues asking them for advice in any of the subject matter.
