Personal Development‌

Apprentices also take part in communication, presentation and teamworking skills development, to help them work successfully with clients and colleagues.

Delivery Model

Apprentice students will attend University in blocks, for approximately 25 days per year, over the four-year programme and undertake supported independent learning. Apprentices will be assigned a Skills Coach who will guide your apprentice to effectively embed their learning into your marketing operations.

Your role is to provide apprentices with the opportunity to turn theory into practice. In this way they can develop skills relevant to your organisation and achieve outputs with real business value. 

Final Degree Award

Upon successful completion of the course, apprentices will achieve a BSc (Hons) in Digital Marketing. 

Entry Requirements

Due to coronavirus and the cancellation of A Level exams, we are currently reviewing our entry criteria for those affected. We will update this page when we have more information.

Existing entry criteria is as follows:

Candidates for the Degree Apprenticeship should have a minimum of 104 points at A2 (Grades BCC) or an equivalent e.g. BTEC DMM.

Participants will also require Maths and English Language GCSE grade A*-C, or commit to undertaking functional skills during the programme. We will individually evaluate candidates who do not meet these requirements, but have workplace experience or have completed a Level 3 Apprenticeship programme. 

Funding

Employers with a payroll in excess of £3 million will be subject to the Apprenticeship Levy and any funds paid out can be used to fund participation in apprenticeship programmes. Employers with a payroll below £3 million are eligible for funding, which will cover at least 95% of the cost of apprenticeship programmes.
