We are very pleased to announce that Manchester Metropolitan University was the highest ranked university at the Rate My Apprenticeship Awards 2019.
Placed 7th overall out of the top 50 Apprenticeship Training Providers, the awards are based on apprentices writing reviews about their apprenticeship experiences via an online survey.
Taking place on Thursday 18th July 2019 in Central London, this year’s theme was 'remarkable apprenticeships' - sharing incredible stories from those who are making a real impact in the apprenticeship market. The audience enjoyed an afternoon of inspirational speakers including Tim Campbell, MBE and winner of the BBC’s The Apprentice, and Jamala Osman, winner of Great Britain and Ireland’s Young Citizen Award for 2018 and TEDx London Speaker.
Elizabeth Gorb, Director of the Apprenticeships Unit at Manchester Metropolitan University said, “This is a fantastic result for the apprenticeship team at the university who consistently look to ensure all our degree apprentices experience the very best support throughout their time with us. This includes a dedicated Skills Coach, access to all the university’s facilities and tailored support for each learner”.
Also winning awards at the event were several of our employer partners including Siemens, Astra Zeneca, Barclays, McDonalds, Lloyds, Mitchells & Butlers, and Fujitsu.
