The Image Research Network Annual International Conference

The Image Research Network will be holding their annual international conference at Manchester School of Art, MMU in September 2019. The conference attracts scholars, academics, artists and writers from across the Globe, and has been running annual conferences since 2010. The Image Network is a perfect fit for our faculty as it covers both Arts and Humanities disciplines.

Jacqueline Butler has been appointed the conference chair for the conference and as chair asked to define the Thematic Special Focus for 2019 Conference. The conference has been titled Techno-Storytelling: Past, Present, Future. See here for further details.

The board have asked that Jacqueline Butler nominates up to 10 staff from MMU to present a paper. The nominated staff will have all fees waivered. Jacqueline's focus will be on selecting staff with an interest in the Techno-Storytelling Theme. If you would like to be nominated could you get in touch with an outline of your abstract asap.

We are also looking for MMU PhD Students interested in chairing sessions. All they need to do is apply for the Emerging Scholar Award here.

Hoping that some of you find this of interest. If you need further information check the website first and then contact Jacqueline.

Alongside the conference papers there will be a pop up exhibition on 3rd floor Benzie. All info is on the website!
