Dr Kate Lemay, Historian at the National Portrait Gallery (Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.) and Visiting Research Fellow at the Manchester Centre for Public History and Heritage (MMU) will give a talk at the Pankhurst Centre about her recent exhibition titled 'Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence'. The exhibition was opened in spring 2019 by Hilary Clinton.
