Dr Kate Lemay, Historian at the National Portrait Gallery (Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.) and Visiting Research Fellow at the Manchester Centre for Public History and Heritage (MMU) will give a talk about her recent book, Triumph of the Dead: American World War II Cemeteries, Monuments, and Diplomacy in France (University of Alabama Press, 2018).
