Join The Modernist Society for a day of talks on the democratisation of modernist design. We have invited a range of speakers, from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines, to join us for a day-long series of talks looking at how modernist design has found its way into our everyday lives. From monumental concrete public sculpture through to teaspoons, from entire new towns down to litter bins, the twentieth century saw modernism go from an obscure and elitist theoretical practice into being a part of almost all our lives.
