Manchester School of Art with its range of researchers working in visual and material cultures welcomes Adeela Suleman to talk about her current artistic practice.

Adeela Suleman is a contemporary Pakistani sculptor and artist.

Her work After All Its Always Someone Else Who Dies is being acquired for MAG’s permanent collections through the Art Fund and V&A Purchase grant. It was originally made for the exhibition South Asian Design 2017.

Adeela is also plays an instrumental role in Vasl Artists’ Collective in Karachi. She is Head of the Fine Art Department at Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture.

Her sculptural work encounters the social and political commentary created out of mundane, everyday objects.
