We are delighted to let you know that on Friday November 30th, (13:00 – 14:00, GM LT7) George House Trust (https://ght.org.uk/) will be running an event on Manchester Metropolitan University campus for our staff, students and members of the public.George House Trust has been providing advice, support and information services to people living with HIV in Greater Manchester and the North West since 1985. We have scheduled this event to mark World AIDS Day on December 1st.

The Trust’s ‘Positively Speaking’ project provides an opportunity to listen to trained speakers talking about their personal experiences of living with HIV. The talk will cover issues such as stigma and prejudice, the history of attitudes towards HIV, improving services for people, and latest developments in HIV. It aims to promote a better understanding of HIV and to challenge discrimination.
