The Observer / Burgess Prize for Arts Journalism is an annual review writing award offering the winner £3,000 and publication in The Observer newspaper. The subject of your review is up to you: it can be any new work in the arts, online or in real life. Previous shortlisted entries have reviewed a Nigella Lawson cookery book, a play on the Litvinenko poisoning, a Justin Bieber tour ("dancerly faff") and the Twitter account Cold War Steve.
