Contributors to the anthology include Michael Symmons Roberts, Kim Moore, Helen Mort, Mark Pajak, Keith Hutson, John Fennelly and a host of other Manchester Met University staff or alumni.

The purpose of the anthology is to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. 100% of profits are going directly to the charity.

The booklet costs £5.95 plus p&p and is available on eBay here and by searching for 'The C Word Poets'.

Scott Fellows, the editor of the colection, said:

"Two things motivated me to put this collection together. Firstly, my active dislike of cancer; the lives it has blighted, including my own, and secondly my love of poetry.

This was a chance to use great poetry to raise funds to hopefully help defeat cancer once and for all."

Scott will be selling copied at Writing School event Carol Ann Duffy and Friends: Owen Lowery on Monday 12th November. For more information about the event, click here.
