ANIMA Horizon 2020 grant

Dr Delia Dimitriu and Professor Paul Hooper have successfully secured a H2020 grant for project ANIMA (Aviation Noise Impact Management through Novel Approaches).

The 7.5 million euros ANIMA project seeks to contribute to improved management of aircraft noise impacts across airports in the EU.  The project starts on 1 October 2017 and involves a consortium of 22 partners led by French national aerospace research centre - ONERA, with Manchester Met providing key academic input and work package leadership.  The value of the award to Manchester Met is approximately 920,000 euros over the 4-year project.
