We are proud to get involved in People & Planet's Go Green Week each year. Activities are organised by the Environment Team, staff and students at Manchester Met and aim to educate and inspire you to take action on environmental issues such as climate change and plastic pollution.

Check out last year's programme: Go Green Week 2019!

We also have Go Green 'Fringe' Events including

  • Fairtrade Fortnight, 24th February – 8th March 2020, this year's theme is chocolate so look out for fairtrade products across campus.
  • More to be confirmed!

Students Get Involved!

Go Green Week isn’t just about the University showing it is serious about climate change, the environment and social justice. It is also a great opportunity for our students to get involved, so please get in touch if you are interested in organising an event or workshop as part of Go Green Week.

The Environment Team, and wider University, can provide help to do this. Whether it be through providing funding, some general advice about how to run and promote an event, or even just discussing issues that matter to you.
