Anne joined MMUBS with extensive experience of the sports industry, having worked in the sport industry for over 20 years which has included working for several national sport organisations (Sport England, LOCOG) as well as a number of Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) and Local Authorities. Anne has been with us over 6 years now and is a core member of staff delivering on the UG sport management and marketing degree programmes and a passionate advocate for supporting students in their future careers.
Other academic service (administration and management)
Anne teaches across a number of the Units that form part of the BA (Hons) Sport Management and Sport Marketing Management degree programmes. This includes Anne acting as the Unit Leader for The Business of Sport (BOS), as well as teaching on Introduction to Sport Management and Marketing (ISMM), Sport in Society (SIS) and Strategic Sport Management (SSM).
Research Expertise, Publications & Grants
Anne is undertaking a PhD at the University of Chester which is examining organisational change in National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGBs) and in particularly examine how employees from NGBs respond and manage change within their organizations.
