Who am I?
Who am I?
My research interests are in the analysis of policy across a number of fields, with work on local taxation (Business Rates) local government finance, trade liberalisation and health policy and value. My work typically combines a pluralist view of economics with econometric analysis, which enables me to approach issues with a from a variety of perspectives.
My PhD in Development Economics (university funded) as well as a concurrent Masters in Public Health (MRC funding to develop e-health/Informatics Research) were awarded by the University of Dundee/ Ninewells Hospital. I have aslso been awarded Masters In Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (London University). These studies underscore my breadth of knowledge on policy anlysis and has enabled me to conduct or participate in externally commissioned research projects, from Rotherham Hospital, Rochdale Council, Salford College amongst others.
