Since 2003 I have worked within Industrial Placements at MMU as well as continuing to lecture in subject areas of Event and Hospitality Management, Event Destinations and Employability Skills. I am the a departmental specialist in employability, work experience and voluntary work.
20 years industry experience working in the Conference and Events industry from both an agency perspective to a corporate environment (8 years as Incentive, Conference and Events Manager for Capital Bank – part of the Bank of Scotland Group). Throughout these years I have gained extensive international travel experience managing a variety of events from international sales conferences, exhibitions, group incentive travel programmes, product launches to award dinners and team building events … to name a few!

Projects and initiatives
I am involved in international educational collaborative projects. In 2011, in Kenya with Educational Projects, in Africa, sponsored by the British Council where she had specific responsibility for organising an educational conference. In 2012 she was project manager within ‘Hollings’ China team’ with a specific role of event logistics for the programme and one day exhibition.
