Study abroad

Take advantage of our global partnerships and experience life in another country by studying abroad.

Most of our undergraduate degrees come with an overseas study option, which means you can spend up to a year studying abroad at one of our partner universities in Europe or further afield.

How does it work?

You will usually go on an exchange on your third year of study, so you’ll begin planning and applying for your exchange in your first and second year.

Depending on the subject you are studying, you may be able to study abroad for a semester, or longer, depending on the partner university.

We have a dedicated Study Abroad Team at the Business School who can guide you through the entire process and help you explore your options. The Study Abroad team run a series of events and workshops on campus to inform you of the various countries and universities available and the options that are most suitable for you.

Why consider overseas study?

Study abroad (exchange) opportunities exist throughout Europe, through the Erasmus+ programme. We also offer global exchange opportunities in the USA, Asia and Australia.
