Working for companies offering European and global Graduate Training Schemes

Many companies and organisations who operate across the world have regional or global training schemes. Some may offer UK based graduate training programmes, which then enable you to progress your career through their overseas locations.

Due to the current uncertainty around “Brexit” and the implications for UK nationals working in Europe, it is unclear which companies will offer European wide graduate schemes. You should check with each organisation and the latest information from Gov.uk/department-for-exiting-the-european-union.

It is important to start your search early as many large organisations close their graduate schemes well before the end of the academic year. Be open minded about the opportunities, as many organisations will have a variety of roles covering all aspects of the business functions. Some organisations will require a specific degree discipline and a second language but more importantly, they will look for evidence of a global outlook and a willingness to relocate if required.

The following list is a sample of companies who have offered international opportunities previously. Their schemes are aimed at final year or postgraduate students and usually start in the autumn following the application closing date.
