I have worked extensively in London since 1992 as a lecturer and practitioner in contemporary theatre. My practice as a dramaturg has encompassed work for several directors and venues in and outside London, including the Gate, King's Head, Blue Elephant, Southwark Playhouse and Young Vic theatres, and for a number of companies participating in the Belfast International Festival. I have worked as a script reader and advisor to the literary departments of the Bush, and Theatre Royal, Stratford East. My specialist interest in the practice and application of dramaturgy forms the basis of my current teaching and research interests, examining the relationship between contemporary performance trends in documentation and dissemination.
