The Team

Dr Eleanor Cranmer is a Lecturer in Information Technology Development, leading units on Emerging Technologies, Technology and Innovation, and Web and Mobile Technologies. Eleanor is an active researcher with a focus on the business value and potential of emerging technologies. She completed a PhD at the Manchester Metropolitan University, developing a business model to implement AR at a UNESCO cultural heritage tourist attraction, in the UK. In addition, Eleanor has been involved in a number of projects, such as Manchester Art Gallery Google Glass, Geevor Tin Mine Museum AR and VR and Manchester Jewish Museum AR.
