Combining AR and VR to communicate Cornwall’s unique mining history

Background

Geevor Tin Mine Museum in Cornwall was recognised by UNESCO in 2006 as a World Heritage site.

Challenge

In 2015, the museum reached out CARH to develop a unique experience that combined augmented reality and virtual reality.

Creative approach

We are in the early stages of identifying and piloting test augmented and virtual reality in a way that will enhancing the visitor experience. At the core of our approach is dedication to reflecting the international value and significance of Geevor’s remarkable landscape.

Outcome

This project is due for delivery in 2016. Early pilots to date have been well received by the museum.
