The School has an international reputation in each area of our work. We have established exchange ties to Turku in Finland, Amsterdam, Buffalo (USA) and the Institute of Education in Hong Kong, as well as many more individual connections to researchers around the world.
Our reputation as a leader in early years and childhood education has led to a number of international activities. Currently we are engaged with developing teaching programmes in Lagos, Nigeria with Corona Trust Schools and in Hong Kong. We are also involved with research and consultancy on early years provision in Kazakhstan with Nazarbayev University.
In education studies we have an international teaching team including lecturers and researchers from Spain, Portugal and the USA attracting international student participation. We have regular visits with the Hogeschool in Amsterdam and with Japan which led to the University hosting the Education Conference for Peace in September 2015.
