Dark matter, the Higgs boson elementary particle, and beyond...

Brooks Building , Lecture Theatre 1, Brooks Building, 53 Bonsall Street, Manchester Metropolitan University, M15 6GX

Join Sinéad Farrington, Professor of Experimental Particle Physics at the University of Edinburgh, to discover all there is to know about the Higgs boson elementary particle and how it could lead us towards new revelations on what makes up dark matter.

Sinéad will discuss the ongoing exploration for new physics at The Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the world’s largest and most powerful particle accelerator, that will explore uncharted territory in science.
