Lecture Theatre 1, Brooks building
Join Dr Steve Barrett for a fascinating discussion surrounding the claims that the 1969 Moon Landing was a hoax.
In 1969, American astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first humans to land on the Moon - one of the most significant scientific events in the 20th century.
However, the Moon Landing has been under scrutiny by a select few, claiming that NASA had created an alternative reality to dupe the general public.
And 50 years on, some still believe that it was all a hoax. What is the 'evidence' that supports the claim, and does it stand up to scientific scruity?
Dr Steve Barrett will be dissecting the claims in his special one-off lecture.
The lecture will begin at 6:30pm. Refreshments will be served from 5:45pm.
