Extra - Ordinary - Places

Clifton Park Museum

Join Dr Abigail Hackett for a free workshop which looks at the role of place in the lives of young children.

What does the latest research tell us about the relationship between early childhood education and place? Just one of the many questions which ESRI's Dr Abigail Hackett will be discussing at her workshop Extra - Ordinary - Places.

The free workshop will reveal the latest findings from a major British Academy research project 'The Emergence of Literacy in Very Young Children', a local study which has taken place in the last three years.

Join us at Clifton Park Museum (Rotheram, South Yorkshire) for discussion, presentations and a free practical tool to help anyone working with or supporting families and young children.

The event is free, but please register your interest through the event page below.

Please note: Extra - Ordinary - Places was originally due to take place in November, but was postponed due to flooding which occurred that week.
