In addition to my part time role as Primary Programme Lead for the STEM Education Centre, I am a partner working in a partnership known as 'Primarily Science'. I am kept busy producing new primary science resources, providing consultancy, and delivering science courses, school based INSET and conference sessions locally, regionally and nationally.
During my teaching career, I held a number of roles including science co-ordinator, head of early years and deputy head. Following this I held Local Authority Primary Science Advisory roles in two northwest Local Authorities.
I have contributed to a range of innovative and well received resources, including being involved in the creation of the KS1 enquiry 'Discovery Dog' materials.
I am an active member of the SLC network Primary Development group and is a member of North West ASE committee. I am regularly presents at both regional and national SLC and ASE conferences. I have recently contributed to forthcoming 'ASE primary guide' and 'Other types of enquiry' publications.
