I am a senior lecturer in Education Studies, Early Years and Childhood Studies, MA Education and PGCE Social Science and Psychology.
Prior to joining MMU I spent a decade teaching at a secondary school in Staffordshire. I led a successful Social Science department and taught a wide variety of subjects and age groups.
I am currently in the process of completing a Doctorate of Education at Keele University.
My Research interests focus on the sociology of education and include; sensemaking and enactment of policy, academy trusts and federations, management of change and leadership and Actor-Network Theory.
