I am a senior lecturer in Education Studies and Youth and Childhood Studies.
Prior to joining MMU I spent a decade teaching at a secondary school in Staffordshire. I led a successful Social Science department and taught a wide variety of subjects and age groups. I was a subject mentor for the social science PGCE at MMU. I am passionate about education, teaching, learning and student experience.
I am currently in the process of completing a Doctorate of Education at Keele University.
My Research interests focus on; sensemaking and enactment of policy, academy trusts and federations, forms of school collaboration, management of change and leadership and Actor-Network Theory.
Don't just sit there - get up and search for that piece of knowledge that will change everything.
