Fraser Baker

PhD topic: Spatio-temporal dynamics of urban ecosystem services

Fraser joined the School in October 2017 as a PhD student in Geography and Environmental Management. Fraser previously studied an MSc Geographical Information Science at University of Leicester, and worked as a Research Associate for the 'My Back Yard' project at Manchester Met. Fraser's research interests focus upon applying remote sensing and GIS for urban ecosystem services assessment.

Paul Preston

PhD topic: Spatio-temporal dynamics of urban ecosystem services

Paul joined the School in January 2018 as a PhD student in Geography and Environmental Management. Paul previously studied an MSc by Research at University of Salford.

Daniel Niepsch

PhD topic: Lichen Bio-monitoring and Atmospheric Pollution in Manchester.

Daniel joined the School in 2016 as a PhD student in Environmental Science. Daniel previously studied Geography/Sociology (B.Sc.) and International Area Studies (M.Sc.) at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg. Daniel's specialisms include urban environments, biomonitoring (with lichens) and geoecology.
