MMU Food & Drink Hospitality menus offer a range of options to suit every occasion.

We have a new Danish “Hygge” influenced buffet and a new Hot Fork buffet which is suitable for anyone who prefers a low carb healthier diet. There is also an exciting Street Food hot fork buffet available for those customers who love to taste food influenced from around the world.

The Executive Chef works closely with suppliers to ensure that our menus reflect the fabulous range of local produce available within the North West. The beef used is reared on Lancashire Dukes Moore Farm, the cheese is from Cheshire Cheese Company and our leafy salads and vegetables are grown on local farms.

We have included gluten free and vegan alternatives where possible. The team will always try to provide for all dietary requirements, please discuss any particular requests with your Catering Manager.

All our recipes include free range eggs only and all fish purchased is certified as Marine Stewardship Council. We offer One Water for all our buffets, which support clean water projects in Africa and other surrounding areas.

We have a new local wine supplier and we have updated our wine list. The wine supplier will also provide recommendations for specific wines to match a bespoke menu.

Using the online hospitality ordering system

  • If you cannot find the correct budget code for your budget holder in the system, either select an alternative budget holder or code; or complete the Specimen Signature Request Form (PDF below) and send it to:
  • Please note that hospitality requestors should only select retirement/leaving GL codes if their event is in compliance with the MMU Entertainment Related Expenses and Hospitality Policy and if they have received prior approval from HR. The approval from HR should be sent onto the relevant Catering Manager
  • When placing your order, please remember that the system requires all orders to be placed 48 hours in advance of the delivery time. Please be aware that we may not be able to fulfill your order if sufficient notice is not given. 
  • If ordering hospitality using the online system, please use Google Chrome to ensure your booking is received and confirmed.
