I have a Master of Philosophy degree in Applied Social Science, completed at Lancaster University in 2009
I have a clinical background in Paediatrics and worked as a senior clinician for 16 years in the north-west region.
Current teaching responsibilities include at undergraduate level: biomechanics, adult and paediatric neurology, evidence based practice, health and social care and foundations in professional practice.
I also teach on the pre-registration masters and masters, neurology, physiotherapy modules.
Current research interests include disability - particularly the patient's experiences of health and social care, clinical gait analysis and the use lower limb orthotics in children.
