Come along to the Northern Quarter's hidden haven The Peer Hat, find out more about HAUNT Manchester, meet network members and even join yourself, at this free-entry fair and relaxed gathering on Saturday 19th October (12-4pm). Enjoy discovering the alternative side of the city? This may well be for you. There will be an array of stalls from existing network members, offering everything from homemade clothes and gifts to tasty treats, complete with photography and art exhibits. Enjoy a drink at the bar and explore for yourself the world of HAUNT Manchester - the website and network set up by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Manchester Met that seeks to uncover the mysterious side of Greater Manchester. And why not stay on for the Rural Eerie event, also taking place that evening at The Peer Hat?
This event is part of the 7th annual Gothic Manchester Festival which is themed on 'Gothic Times'. This year the festival will span the whole of October with a whole range of events exploring the Gothic throughout time for you to get involved in.
The Manchester Gothic Festival is organised by the Manchester Centre for Gothic Studies at Manchester Metropolitan University. Find out more details and our full events schedule on our website: mmu.ac.uk/english/gothic-studies/gothic-manchester-festival/
