The Jean Rich Foundation of Canada kindly offers the Colwyn and Jean Rich Scholarship to support one UK student studying full time on the MA Library and Information Management programme.
The Scholarship has a value of 6,000 Canadian dollars and is intended for an applicant of academic merit who has the commitment to complete the programme of study and who is in need of financial support. The Foundation has stipulated that it wishes to award the Scholarship to a UK national and has also indicated its preference for supporting those candidates who can demonstrate their previous and/or potential social contribution to the community.
How to Apply
All candidates wishing to be considered for the award of this Scholarship must have accepted a place on the postgraduate programme. Your application should take the form of a statement that explains why you believe that you would be a worthy recipient of the award. In addition to your financial need and demonstrating your interest in the library and information profession, you should also highlight any outstanding academic achievements and contributions to the community.
All completed letters of application should be emailed with subject 'JR-SCHOLARSHIP' to email@example.com (Dr Geoff Walton) by 5pm on 31st August 2018.
