Dr Anna Bergqvist will be addressing invited American Philosophical Association symposium on Value, Heritage and War.

Based on her work on philosophy and museums and the participatory turn in curatorship, Dr Anna Bergqvist is invited plenary speaker at the Invited Symposium on Value, Heritage, and War at the upcoming American Philosophical Association Pacific Division Meeting in Vancouver 17-22 April 2019.

Dr Anna Bergqvist has been Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at Manchester Metropolitan University since January 2013. Before coming to Manchester Met, Anna was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Glasgow and Stockholm University, two institutions with which she retains strong links. Before that Anna was an AHRC funded PhD student at the University of Reading where she worked with Professor Jonathan Dancy on the epistemology of Moral Particularism. Anna currently supervise doctoral work on Particularism and Wittgenstein at Edge Hill University.

Dr Bergqvist's research specialisms are Metaethics and Aesthetics, Philosophy of Psychology and Psychiatry, and selected issues in Philosophy of Language and Perception.
