Bergqvist invited plenary on hope and moral perception in Personality Disorders

Based on her interdisciplinary work on moral perception, applied phenomenology and analytic psychology, Dr Anna Bergqvist has been invited as plenary speaker at the inaugural workshop and launch of the Understanding Personality Disorders Network in Oxford, on Monday 10th June 2019.

Dr Anna Bergqvist is Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at Manchester Metropolitan University. 

Before coming to Manchester Metropolitan University, Bergqvist was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Glasgow and Stockholm University, two institutions with which she still retains strong links. Before that Bergqvist was an AHRC funded PhD student at the University of Reading where she worked with Professor Jonathan Dancy on the epistemology of Moral Particularism. Bergqvist currently supervises doctoral work on Particularism and Wittgenstein at Edge Hill University.

Her reserach specialisms are Metaethics and Aesthetics, Philosophy of Psychology and Psychiatry, and selected issues in Philosophy of Language and Perception.
