Postgraduate Food, Nutrition and Health Excellence Scholarship

We are pleased to offer an Excellence Scholarship of £2000 for candidates who have achieved a 2:1 degree classification.

The Scholarship is now available for our Postgraduate Food, Nutrition and Health courses:

Eligibility

Eligibility will be assessed at the point of admission to the programme and applied to fees as a discount.

For 2018/19 all scholarships will be applied retrospectively to current applicants and communications sent to alert candidates to the available scholarship.

Terms and conditions

The scholarships will be awarded as a reduction in fees for Home and EU students commencing a full masters course (180 credits) in 2018/19 & 2019/20.

If Recognition of Prior Learning or any other prior learning credits/experience is applied which reduce the number of taught credits below 180 credits, students will no longer be eligible for the scholarship.

No other form of Manchester Metropolitan University discount or scholarship may be used in conjunction with the Excellence scholarships (with the exception of an alumni discount).

The scholarships are only available for the MSc Occupational Safety Health and Environment, MSc Food Science and Innovation, MSc Human Nutrition and MSc Sport Nutrition masters.

If a student transfers courses or changes their study mode they will no longer be eligible for the scholarship.

The scholarships are is open to full time home and EU self-funding students.

The scholarships are available for September 2018 and September 2019 intake only.

Successful applicants will complete a scholarship gift agreement prior to starting the course, which will cover additional terms and conditions.

There is no scholarship application process; eligibility will be automatically assessed at the point of admission.
