This one-day course will offer an overview of the main cognitive, behavioural and emotional expressions of anxiety in children and adolescents. The attendees will learn how to recognise signs of anxiety in their pupils and how to plan productive conversations with their family members around anxiety issues and needs for support. We will also talk about CBT-derived exercises and techniques that have been proven to be efficient in reducing anxiety in young people. The attendees will be able to use these exercise and techniques in the second part of the workshop, that will aim at ‘putting into practice’ the skills discussed during the first part of the day.
