This one-day course focuses on what is required following the recommendations to the Children’s and Social Work Bill (2017) in relation to the changes of Sex and Relationship Education (SRE) to Relationships and Sex Education (RSE). This course will in addition incorporate how to discuss Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) relationships into the teaching, education and support you provide in your professional capacity. Do not be one of those teachers or healthcare professionals who can’t answer young people’s questions regarding sexuality, and then become embarrassed because of it. This course will take away the fear and give you an overall understanding of how to communicate sensitive topics so you are equipped for anything that gets asked in your professional capacity as an educator and support lead.
