This one-day course focuses on developing introductory schema therapy skills for professionals working with challenging behaviour in different settings such as support and mental health workers working with clients with personality difficulties or teachers in Pupil Referral Units. We will introduce some key schema therapy theory to support the practical and experiential element of the course. The aim of the course is to help attendees to conceptualise complex problems through the lens of schema therapy and equip them with the fundamental skills necessary to better support individuals who experience complex problems.
