I completed my first degree (Masters of Pharmacy) at the Medical University of Gdańsk in 2006, where I gained knowledge of a broad spectrum of health and science-based disciplines, such as Biochemistry, Human Physiology and Chemistry. In 2009, I enrolled on a PhD study in Manchester Metropolitan University.
I have taught on Nutrition and Food courses in the Department of Food and Tourism Management since January 2010. In 2013, I completed my PhD in Food Science and Human Nutrition with the thesis “Sourdough bread enriched with soluble fibres: development, characterisation and nutritional aspects of a functional food product.” I am registered with Association for Nutrition (AfN) as Registered Nutritionist (Nutrition Science).
I am an assessor of portfolios for the Association for Nutrition.
I am Programme Leader for Nutritional Sciences course. I also serve as co-chair of the LGBT staff forum.
