Claire is a Chartered and Registered Forensic Psychologist and has worked in a variety of clinical and forensic settings over the past 18 years. She has worked with both female and male adult prisoners in a range of prisons. Claire also worked at Prison Service Headquarters as the National Clinical Lead for a Cognitive-Behavioural Offending Behaviour Treatment Programme and was responsible for the design, development, delivery and evaluation of the programme nationally in joint partnership with Probation. Claire has specialised in working with young people with forensic needs and has worked in an NHS community forensic mental health service for young people, as well secure and open units for young people with forensic and mental health needs. Most recently Claire was based in an NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service setting as the Clinical Lead for a Multisystemic Therapy Service for young people and their families, which was a multi-agency project working in partnership with Children's Services and Youth Offending Services. Multisystemic Therapy is an evidence based community intervention for young people with anti-social and offending behaviour who are at risk of care of custody.
