I was a PhD student and visiting lecturer in Sport and Exercise Sciences, University of Chester. I became a full time senior lecturer in the Department of Health Professions at Manchester Metrolpoltan University in September 2018.

I currently teach on the BSc physiotherapy unit Anatomy, Physiology and Kinesiology unit as well as supervise student projects.
I currently teach on a number of MSc prograames including Advanced Physiotherapy, Sport and Exercise Nutrition and Sport and Exercise Medicine. I am unit lead for the Maximising Sport Performance unit.
I am currently supervising a number of postgraduate research projects Sport and Exercise Nutrition, Sport and Exercise Medicine and Advanced Physiotherapy.
