I completed my Masters in Health Care Policy and Management at the University of Birmingham and focused my dissertation around the inter-sectoral partnerships in the management of cardio-vascular disease within diverse communities.
I am currently undertaking a PhD that is focused on the management of chronic conditions within diverse communities.
I am a qualified nurse who has experience of delivering health care services in both the NHS and private sector. I have worked across a variety of specialist areas to include orthopaedic nursing, and surgical nursing.
I have been a member of the FdA programme team since March 2002 and most of my delivery on the programme has been centred on the development of competencies, clinical, peri-operative and therapeutic skills.
