I currently teach on a number of units throughout the BA (Hons) Social Care degree:
I am currently researching critical, constructive and qualitative engagements with the female body. I am interested in mapping autoethnographic encounters of women's relationships with their bodies as well as engaging with other women using qualitative interviews/focus groups as spaces of collaborative meaning/sense making.
I am also engaged in qualitative research into issues of domestic violence, aging and dementia and areas of mental health. I have worked with research teams on ‘Minoritisation and Domestic Violence’, and ‘Health inequalities among South Asian women: nutrition and pregnancy’.
