I conduct research and teaching in human-technology-interaction, information design and user experience. I explore how new technologies transform communication, behaviour, and interaction using ethnographic research methods to gain insights into people's common-sense understandings of technology and their day-to-day utilization of it. With a twofold aim to both improve its design, usefulness and usability; and to identify implications for how new technologies transform social life.
