We offer a number of opportunities for a short programmes abroad between 1 and 8 weeks delivered at several of our partner universities.
The programmes are delivered at various periods throughout the year and are designed to introduce you to the language and culture of the country, or provide a more academic focus concentrating on a specific subject. All opportunities are designed for international students from across the globe. Please note that depending on the programme, the course may be delivered in the host language.

A scholarship of up to £750* towards the short programme abroad (tuition and travel) is available if:
If you are undertaking an Erasmus study or work placement in 2019-20 and you wish to undertake an intensive language programme prior to commencing your Erasmus placement, you can also apply for a scholarship. NOTE you must undertake the language programme in your Erasmus host country
*The amount of scholarship is dependent on programme fee/tuition costs/travel costs – e.g. if the programme and travel fee is £650, you will only receive a £650 scholarship.
Please ensure that you read through the conditions of the grant as specified in the application form and you answer all of the questions on the form by the deadline of 1st June 2019.
