Manchester Metropolitan University has 34 student exchange arrangements with partner universities in Australia, Argentina, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico and the USA.

Every year we send approximately 100 students across the world to study in one of our partner universities for either one term or one year through the worldwide exchange programme.

You can read more about our worldwide exchange partners in our Discover the World Brochure 2019

Places on our worldwide exchange programme are highly sought after and there is a competitive application process in place. To be considered for worldwide exchange you will need to demonstrate commitment to your studies, an understanding of how you will benefit from the study abroad experience and your suitability as an ambassador for Manchester Met. We will also be liaising with your department to assess your engagement in class, attendance record as well as progression.

Please consult the Worldwide Exchange Places 2019-20 document to confirm the number of places that are available at your chosen destination this year.
