Manchester Metropolitan University is committed to recognising high-achieving students and we have a comprehensive range of scholarships available.

Vice-Chancellor International Scholarships, January 2019 Entry (Non-EU Students only)

Manchester Met is making a limited number of Vice-Chancellor scholarships available, each to the value of £5,000*. These scholarships are open to international students who enrol on a full-time taught programme in January 2019.

For students with an offer for a course starting in January 2019, you can apply for a Vice-Chancellor International Scholarship via this webpage until 18 October 2018. Applicants will be notified if they have been successful in November 2018.

Postgraduate Scholarships, September 2019 Entry

Manchester Met is providing scholarships of up to £2,000 for high achieving applicants. This scholarship is open to international students who enrol on a full-time postgraduate Masters programme and meet the eligibility criteria. The scholarship will be awarded automatically upon enrolment, no application is required. Please see the International Postgraduate Scholarships t&cs 2019-2020 for further details and eligibility criteria.

Many of our international students are eligible for external funding. The British Council’s Study UK website provides details of available financial support, but you can also check with your local British Council office for up to date information.

You may be eligible to apply for funding options including alumni loyalty discounts, sport scholarships and faculty-specific postgraduate discounts. Please refer to the relevant funding terms and conditions for eligibility criteria.
