Entry requirements if you have studied in Ghana

Foundation Year

West Afrcian Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or WAEC

Undergraduate Courses

General Certificate of Education Advanced Level/ Polytechnic (or Technical University) Diploma / University Certificate

West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) / School Certificate / General Certificate of Education Ordinary plus a recognised foundation year

Undergraduate advanced entry and top-up degrees

University Diploma holders may be eligible for Year 2 entry; Higher National Diploma holders may be eligible for Year 3 entry

Postgraduate Courses

Bachelor's degree

English Language Requirements

WAEC or WASSCE with minimum grade C6 in English

Undergraduate courses

For Undergraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.0 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

Postgraduate courses

For Postgraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.5 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

If you have a UK qualification

If you have studied UK qualifications such as A Levels, you can calculate your UCAS Tariff points then check the individual course descriptions to see if you meet requirements. You can also find the minimum IB scores required by checking these descriptions.
